Our Story

What we do & who we are

COSF Uganda is one of the Key Population-led organization whose main objectives are to advocate for human rights , especially the right to health, education and full recognition of the Key Population in Uganda and also to sensitize the Key Population on prevention of sexually transmitted infections such as HIV/AIDS and other.

COSF is also running an Key Population clinic in name of “COSF Medical Services” and its main objective is to reduce stigma and discrimination to the Key Population community members in Uganda and also to create room for openness between the Key Population members and the service providers because all the service providers are Key Population and Qualified.

COSF provides temporary Shelters to the Vulnerable Key Population members who are evicted from their parent’s homes due to their sexual orientations, those evicted from their partners’ homes due to HIV status.

Apparently, COSF Uganda is located in Kawempe Division Kampala District

COSF Medical Services

COSF Medical Services was an idea of our Executive Director Mr. Mukiibi Henry to reduce health stigma and discrimination in the Key Population community. This has come into reality because all our health service providers are qualified Key Population members (we have our own).
This has helped in reducing new infections due to the openness from our Key Population members to the service providers .

Restaurant

COSF Restaurant

The restaurant is under COSF Uganda it is established to create jobs for the skilled Marginalized youths who are evicted from their jobs due to their sexual orientation and also the pandemic.

COSF Restaurant provides free venue to all community members with events ( birthday parties, graduation parties meetings etc.
